The A28 and the A299 meet at the St. Nicholas roundabout,
take the 2nd exit from the A28 and the 1st from the A299,
signposted for Birchington/Margate. The road from
here is
the A28. At Birchington, immediately after the church on
the left, there is small roundabout - take the right exit to
Margate (A28 - Canterbury Road). Keep on this road, after
about a mile there are some traffic lights at Westgate go
straight through these. Another 200 yards on there is a
petrol station on the left, keep on another 200yds and
there is a church on the left. About 100yds from here there
is a choice of direction:
Straight on - keep
on this road, over the bridge and on
until the sea is in view to the left. Directly ahead is a clock
tower, take the right hand lane on approaching the traffic
lights and at the second set immediately after turn right
into Eaton Road. Continue along this road for a couple of
hundred yards and the road bears to the right and under
a bridge, head straight on to the traffic lights. Go straight
through these lights and on past the Queen Elizabeth the
Queen Mother hospital. A little further on there are some
traffic lights, with B&Q and Halfords to the right - get into
the right hand lane and turn right into Enterprise Road.
Go to the end of the road and turn right into Continental
Approach. At the end of this road turn right and through
the gates and we are in the second building on the left.
Turn Right (George V Avenue)
- follow the road,
past a school on the right and to the junction. Turn right
and head down Hartsdown Road past Margate football
ground on the left. At the traffic lights turn left and as the
road splits take the right fork and head to the traffic lights.
Take the right hand lane and turn right past the lights
into Ramsgate Road. Go on past the Queen Elizabeth the
Queen Mother hospital. A little further on there are some
traffic lights, with B&Q and Halfords to the right - get into
the right hand lane and turn right into Enterprise Road.
Go to the end of the road and turn right into Continental
Approach. At the end of this road turn right and through
the gates and we are in the second building on the left.
From Dover follow all signs to Sandwich/Ramsgate/A256.
After passing through Cliffsend ther is a double
roundabout - take first exit at the first round about and the
second exit at the second. Keep on this road (A256 Haine
Road) until the large roundabout (Pearce Signs on the left),
turn left into Ramsgate Road (A254) and keep on until the
first set of traffic lights. Turn left into Enterprise Road.
Go to the end of the road and turn right into Continental
Approach. At the end of this road turn right and through
the gates and we are in the second building on the left.
